Camping Sunêlia La Presqu'île 

1) Validity of the rates

he present general terms and conditions of sale are accepted by the customer, after validation of the latter, at the time of booking, by ticking the box “I accept the GTCS”.
Prices shown on the campsite website are inclusive of VAT. VAT is charged at the current rate of 10%.

Booking fees, tourist tax and ecotax are not included in the price of the stay. Tourist tax must be paid on arrival, in accordance with the local council's current rates.
Current promotions cannot be combined with other promotional offers or are subject to conditions.

2) Terms of payment

he reservation option is valid for 3 days, during which time the reservation must be made on the website in the “Reservation” section. Without confirmation from you within 3 days of your telephone call, the option is cancelled.
All firm bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay, plus €19 booking fee for camping pitches/€30 for rentals and any optional extras.
A confirmation email will be sent to you on receipt of your deposit, summarizing the total amount of your stay, excluding tourist tax.
Reservations are strictly personal and cannot be sublet or transferred without our consent.

The balance of your stay must be paid 40 days before your arrival. Payment by credit card, cheque (payable to SAS Camping La Presqu'île with proof of identity), vacation voucher or cash are accepted on site.
Early departure or late arrival will not result in a refund; the entire stay remains payable.

The establishment will refuse access to families arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation (including babies and children).
Minors not accompanied by their parents may not be admitted.
Only registered guests are authorized to occupy the accommodation or pitch allocated to them. Anyone other than registered guests is considered a visitor and must be registered at reception.
Tenants are required to comply with the campsite rules and regulations (posted at reception). In the event of non-compliance, the management has the right to exclude the tenant from the campsite.

3) Rental accommodation

Rentals start at 2 nights in low season and 7 nights in hight season. Arrival time is from 5pm.

A deposit of €300 will be requested upon arrival by bank card imprint. A time slot for the inventory check will be determined based on the available time slots in the schedule, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Guests must check out of the rental property before 10 a.m. The inventory check will be carried out in your presence on the day of your departure.
If you depart outside these times, the deposit cannot be returned or destroyed until we have inspected the chalet. The key must be returned to our staff or, in the event of early departure, placed in the letterbox located before the exit barrier.

The tenant is responsible for cleaning the rental property immediately before departure. If you have opted for a cleaning service or hotel service, we ask that you at least place the rented sheets in the bag provided for this purpose and empty the bins and dishwasher.
The bank card details taken for the deposit will be destroyed if everything is in order. If the rental property is not returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness, you will be charged for the cleaning option at the current rate. In the event of damage to the property, the cost of the damage will be deducted from the deposit.

4) Campsite Pitches

The basic package includes :
• 3 people
• The pitch for the tent, a caravan + a vehicule or a camping-car
• Parking space for 1 car (which must be parked on the pitch)
• Access to sanitary facilities and waste water disposal
• Access to animation, services and leisure facilities

Maximum people capacity per pitch:
A maximum of 6 people are allowed on the pitch

Maximum equipment capacity per pitch :
• 3 tents + 1 vehicule or
• 1 small tent + 1 vehicule + 1 caravan or
• 1 small tent + 1 camping-car

You will be allocated a camping pitch based on the category selected and our availability. Unless you select the ‘Preferred Pitch choice’ option, pitch numbers are not communicated and may be subject to change depending on our schedule.
During your stay, it will not be possible to change pitches, except in exceptional circumstances and with the management's agreement.
On the day of your departure, pitches must be vacated by 12 noon at the latest. If you exceed this time, you will be charged for an additional night. Your pitch must be left clean and free of rubbish.

The current of the electrical terminals is 6 amps (1320 watts) and 10 amps (2200 watts) for category XL pitches. Customers connect to the bollard with their own equipment. European adapters are available at reception.

5) Pets

Pets are allowed on the campsite, paying an extra at the time of booking (see “Options”). They must be leashed and be able to show their up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo. You are responsible for picking up their droppings. Animals are not allowed on the grassy area of the beach.
• In accommodations, where they are accepted, only one dog is allowed per rental. They may not sleep in the bedding and may not damage property.
Animals must not be left ALONE in the accommodation.
• On pitches they will be accepted by .
First and Second category dogs are strictly forbidden on the campsite.

6) Cancellation ans Changes to your Stay

1. Bookings made directly with the campsite without Cancellation Cover 
(On site, by telephone or via the campsite website)
In the absence of Cancellation Cover, any cancellation will be subject to the following conditions:
•    Up to 60 days (D-60) before the start of the stay: cancellation of the stay will result in a refund of the deposit paid, less any booking fees (if charged at the time of booking according to the pricing conditions in force) 
•    Between D-60 and D-15 before the start date of the stay: cancellation will result in the total loss of the deposit paid. The balance of the stay is not due.
•    Less than 15 days (D-15) before the start date of the stay: the total amount of the stay remains due. No refund will be made, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
All cancellations must be notified in writing to the campsite (by registered letter or email). The date of receipt of the request shall be taken as proof.
Depending on the situation and the reason for cancellation, the campsite may, on a purely commercial basis and without obligation, offer an alternative solution, subject to availability, such as:
•    postponing the stay to the same calendar year,
•    issuing a credit note valid for a future stay the following year.
In this case, supporting documents may be requested from the customer. No alternative solution is guaranteed and this does not constitute a right for the customer.

2. Bookings made directly with the campsite with Cancellation Cover 
(On site, by telephone or via the campsite website)
Cancellation Cover is a paid service costing 5% of the total cost of your stay. It must be taken out at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date.
With Cancellation Cover, the customer may cancel their stay at any time, including after the start of the stay, according to the following terms and conditions:
•    Up to 60 days before the start of the stay: refund by bank transfer based on the following calculation => Total amount of the stay + supplements + tourist taxes paid – booking fees – amount of Cancellation Cover.
No supporting documents are required.

•    From 60 days prior to the end of your stay
Refunds will only be granted in the event of one of the following circumstances, upon presentation of supporting documents:
o    Serious illness, physical accident or death of the customer, their spouse (legal or common-law), ascendants or descendants, guardian, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, parents-in-law.
o    Medical complications related to pregnancy.
o    Serious damage affecting more than 50% of the main residence or business premises (theft, fire, water damage, natural events), as certified by the insurer.
o    Redundancy of the customer or their spouse, when the procedure takes place after the booking.
o    Refusal or modification of leave by the employer, upon presentation of an official certificate.

All claims for compensation must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, accompanied by supporting documents, as soon as the event occurs and no later than 3 working days thereafter.
When the cancellation occurs after the start of the stay, the refund is calculated on a pro rata basis for the nights not used, according to the same calculation basis.

3. Bookings made through a commercial partner or tour operator
For all bookings made through a partner (Sunêlia, Campings.com, Maeva.com, Vacances Select, Pitchup, etc.), the general terms and conditions of sale of the service provider concerned apply exclusively. The campsite cannot under any circumstances act as a substitute for the service provider.

4. Changes to your stay
Any request to change your stay must be made in writing (by email or registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt).
•    Changes are possible up to 60 days before the start date of the stay, subject to availability.
•    The modified stay must comply with the pricing rules and restrictions applicable to the new dates chosen (minimum length of stay, high or very high season, etc.).
The price of the new stay will be recalculated based on the rates in effect on the date of the change request:
•    If the new stay is more expensive, the difference will be payable by the customer.
•    If the new stay is less expensive, the campsite will refund the difference. 

7) Responsibilities

Camping La Presqu'île cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, irregularities, loss or theft of personal belongings or luggage.
It is the client's responsibility to take out insurance to cover any accidents or incidents that may arise from legal liability.

8) Image rights

During your stay at our campsite, you may be photographed or filmed for the design and production of our advertising brochures, our website and various promotional materials including Facebook.
This permission is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of 5 years, unless you inform the reception in writing on arrival that you oppose this practice.

9) Mediator

In accordance with the provisions of Article L 1612-1 of the Consumer Code, any camper has the right to contact, free of charge, a consumer mediator with the aim to amicably settle a dispute with the operator of the campsite.

In the event of difficulties arising in connection with the implementation of these rules, of the rental contract or as a result of its termination for any reason, and if no amicable settlement can put an end to the dispute, only the courts have jurisdiction.
